The trailer of Atul Sabharwal’s espionage thriller Berlin, starring Rahul Bose, Aparshakti Khurana and Ishwak Singh, was unveiled by the makers on Friday. After doing a round at film festivals around the world, the movie will drop on ZEE5 on September 13.

The trailer introduces us to Aparshakti’s character, who is poetically named Pushkin Verma, and is a sign language teacher. He is roped in by Rahul Bose’s Sondhi, an IB officer, to interrogate a hearing and speech impaired suspect Ashok Kumar (Ishwak). For the most part, the film is set in an interrogation room. As secrets start spilling out, the trailer hints at a conspiracy to assassinate the Russian president. Is Ashok really a rival agent or just a scapegoat?

Berlin has previously been screened at Indian Film Festival of Melbourne and the Red Lorry Film Festival. It also stars veteran actor Kabir Bedi.
