The trailer of Siddhant Chaturvedi’s Yudhra was released by the makers on Thursday. Directed by Ravi Udyawar (Mom (2017)) and written by Sridhar Raghavan, the action-thriller also stars Malavika Mohanan, Ram Kapoor, Gajraj Rao, Shilpa Shukla and Raj Arjun in pivotal roles.

The trailer introduces Yudhra, played by Siddhant Chaturvedi, as an army-man who has anger issues. He beats up some goons in the prison as the trailer begins. Malavika plays his love interest, Nikhat and Raghav plays the antagonist who aims to kill Yudhra. The film promises to feature some sleek action scenes shot aesthetically.

Yudhra features music by Shankar Ehsaan Loy and Prem and Hardeep with lyrics by Javed Akhtar and Raj Ranjodh. It is shot by Jay Pinak Oza (Gully Boy, Toofan).

The film has long been in the making and its first look poster was unveiled in August 2021 which featured Siddhant holding a gun and a lollypop in his hands. It was slated to release in Summer 2022, but got postponed because of shooting restrictions in pandemic due to which certain portions had to be re-shot.

Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar and Sudha Anukta, the film is set to be released in theatres on September 20.
