Kalki 2898 AD director Nag Ashwin recently spoke about the mutual admiration Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan had on the sets of the film. The director said that Bachchan is a “fanboy” of Prabhas and had seen the latter’s Salaar: Part 1 two times.

 “What was even more surprising was to see, how big a fanboy is Bachchan sir of Prabhas. Once after shooting he told me, ‘Can you believe it is the Baahubali?’ said Nag. “He was so excited whenever he had a scene with Prabhas. There were some scenes for which I could not shoot them together and he would be so disappointed.”

The director also noted that Bachchan expressed his admiration after watching Prabhas in Salaar-Part 1. “On one of the last days of shoot, after Salaar was released he was so excited, he called him and said ‘I watched it twice and you were amazing in the film.’”

Apart from Bachchan and Prabahs, Kalki also stars Deepika Padukone and features Kamal Haasan as the villain.
