Voicing her displeasure over the excessive importance given to six-pack abs in Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor Khan emphasised on talent over physique in reaching stardom.

In her interview with Film Companion, Kareena Kapoor said that if an actor is great and talented and if people like you and connect with you, then stardom will follow. She subsequently adds that she feels like telling some actors to please wear their T-shirts, as she can't even look at them like that. She goes on to say it is not like that he has abs and he looks hot, so he is a big star.

She also praised actors Bobby Deol and Ranbir Kapoor (who is also her cousin) for taking on versatile roles throughout their careers, which resulted in their success and they didn't just rely on a 'chiseled physique.' She lauded Ranbir Kapoor for consistently proving his talent in films like Barfi!, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Brahmastra, Animal and Tamasha.

Kareena, who was last seen in the heist comedy film Crew by Rajesh A Krishnan, will next feature in Singham Again to reprise her role of Avni Kamat Singham opposite Ajay Devgn.
