The song ‘Holiyaan’ from John Abraham and Sharvari’s Vedaa was released by the makers on Saturday. The action-thriller is directed by Nikkhil Advani, written by Aseem Arrora, and also stars Abhishek Bannerjee and Tamannaah Bhatia in pivotal roles.

The music video features Sharvari dancing on the occasion of Holi. The vocals by Nikhita Gandhi and Asha Sapera give it a refreshing and festive appeal. It is composed by Yuva and written by Arushi Kaushal with a rap portion by MC Square. The electronic music lends it a catchy appeal. The choreography is by Kruti Mahesh.

The film tells the story of Vedaa, a young girl from the underprivileged caste who dares to challenge the status quo. In her fight against injustice, she finds a mentor in John’s Abhimanyu Kanwar, a former soldier.

Vedaa is produced by Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and John Abraham, and co-produced by Minnaskshi Das. It will be released in theatres on August 15, clashing at the box office with Stree 2 and Khel Khel Mein.
