New poster from Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein unveiled, trailer out on this date

The comedy-drama also stars Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Aditya Seal and Pragya Jaiswal in pivotal roles

A new poster from Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein was unveiled by the actor on Thursday. The film’s trailer will be out on August 2, he announced through the post. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the comedy-drama also stars Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor Fardeen Khan, Aditya Seal and Pragya Jaiswal in pivotal roles.

The poster features all the actors wearing party clothes and holding bottles of champagne as a chandelier is seen dangling around the title of the film. In the caption, it was written, “Aa rahe hain aapko hasaane, Janta janaardan ko apna banaane! Yaaron waala khel, Yaari waala tashan! (We are coming to spread laughter to our audiences. A caravan of friends bringing the swag of friendship).”

As per reports, the film is a Hindi remake of the 2016 Italian comedy-drama Perfect Strangers. It will see Akshay reunite with Taapsee after Mission Mangal (2019). He has worked with Vaani before in Bell Bottom (2021). The film will also mark the big screen return of Fardeen Khan after 14 years.

The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vipul D. Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl, Shashikant Sinha, and Ajay Rai. It was earlier scheduled to hit theatres on September 6, but the release date was preponed. It will now hit the theatres on August 15, along with Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2 and John Abraham, Sharvari's Vedaa.
