‘Haste Haste’, the first song from Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey and Sunny Kaushal’s pulpy-thriller Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba was released on Thursday. The song has been sung by Sachet Tandon with music by Sachet-Parampara and lyrics by Raj Shekhar.

The music video opens up with a rift occurring between Taapsee and Vikrant’s characters Rani and Rishu. The sad tunes play as we see Rani decking up to marry Sunny Kaushal’s Abhimanyu in the film.

Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba has been directed by Jayprad Desai and written by Kanika Dhillon. It is a sequel to the 2021 film Haseen Dillruba.

Earlier, the trailer of the film was released which gave a sneak peek into Rani and Rishu’s life as they try to leave their troubled past behind, only to find themselves entangled in a web of new challenges. As they try to live a peaceful life, the arrival of new faces, including the enigmatic Abhimanyu, throws their plans in danger. Jimmy Sheirgill is the new entry to the franchise and plays a cop who wants to satisfy a personal vendetta by exposing Rani.

Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba will premiere on Netflix on August 9.
