Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 12^th Fail has been in theatres for over 25 weeks now. This is coming at a time when the film has had its OTT release. Starring Vikrant Massey and Medha Shankr in lead roles, the film is based on the real-life story and struggles of IPS officer Manoj Sharma.

Reflecting on the film’s achievement, Vikrant said, “Right from childhood, I used to read the stories of films completing Silver Jubilees. Now when 12th Fail made the silver jubilee run, it felt like a re-release.”

"And also, the film is still screening in cinemas as well as on the OTT platform. It feels surreal. For every actor, this is the biggest achievement,” he added.

12^th Fail released in theatres on October 27 last year, and it achieved resounding critical acclaim and a box-office business of Rs 66.55 crore. It was subsequently released on Disney+ Hotstar on December 29.
