Bhuvan Bam and Shriya Pilgaonkar wrapped the shoot of Taaza Khabar Season 2, the makers announced on Wednesday. Directed by Himank Gaur, the series also stars Mahesh Manjrekar, Deven Bhojani, Shilpa Shukla, Prathmesh Parab, Nitya Mathur in pivotal roles.

Speaking about the show and his character Vasant, Bhuvan said in a press release, “Shooting for Taaza Khabar Season 2 was like homecoming, it was a great time each day on set. The team is like family and we share a great camaraderie. With Season 2 we are delving deeper into Vasant's life, and I can't wait to see how audiences react.”

Shriya added in her press statement, “I can't believe we have reached the final day of shooting for the new season. It's been an amazing journey, and I have loved every moment on set. I will truly miss playing Madhu and being part of this incredible experience.”

The first season of the show streamed in 2023 and told the story of a sanitation worker, Vasant, who gets magical powers which sets his life apart. The show is produced by Rohit Raj and Bhuvan Bam under the banner of BB Ki Vines Productions.
