Actor Bhamini Oza’s first look from Hansal Mehta’s series, Gandhi, was unveiled by the makers on Thursday. She plays the role of MK Gandhi’s wife, Kasturba Gandhi, in the biographical series, while Pratik Gandhi plays the titular role.

The makers shared the first look on the occasion of Kasturba’s birth anniversary today. The caption to the post read, “On the special occasion of Kasturba Gandhi's birth anniversary, we are honoured to unveil the remarkable Bhamini Oza as she portrays the strength, grace, and resilience of Ba', a fighter both in life and politics.”

The multi-season series is based on the biographies on Gandhi written by historian Ramchandra Guha titled, Gandhi Before India and Gandhi: Years That Changed the WorldIt is produced by Applause Entertainment in association with Applause Productions.
