Crew surpasses Rs 100 crore at the worldwide box office

The film stars Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles

Crew, starring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles, grossed over 100 crores, making a total of 104.08 crores in just nine days of its theatrical run. The film was released in theatres on March 29th.

Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, the film opened at the box office on Day 1 with a worldwide gross of Rs. 20.07 crore. It did a business of Rs 21.06 crore on day two and Rs. 21.40 crore on day three, respectively.

Produced by Shobha Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Ektaa R. Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, Crew follows the story of three air hostesses working for an airline called Kohinoor that is on the verge of bankruptcy and how they smuggle gold to make ends meet. Following its theatrical release, the film met with positive to mixed reception. An excerpt from the CE review of the film read, "Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon shine in a film that deserved better telling."
