The girls killed it: Karan Johar heaps praise on Crew

Reports are pouring in that Crew, starring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, is minting good numbers at the box-office. Balaji Motion Pictures informed that its movie has made Rs 41.13 crores worldwide in the past two days.

Director-producer Karan Johar has appreciated the makers and the actors on his social media page.

Johar, in his story, called the film "unapologetic and super fun." He wished the cast members individually in his post.

The film follows the story of three air hostesses -- played by Tabu, Kareena and Kriti -- working for an airline called Kohinoor that is on the verge of bankruptcy and their attempts to keep their head above water. It also stars Saswata Chatterjee, Rajesh Sharma and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. It is produced by Rhea Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Shobha Kapoor.

The makers posted a box-office report for two day global gross. Accordingly, Crew earned Rs 20.07 crores on Day 1 and Rs 21.06 crores working out to Rs 42.13 crores in two days.
