Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan took to social media to wish director Atlee on his birthday by sharing snippets from the shoot of the song Faraatta from the recently released action entertainer Jawan.

Shah Rukh Khan took to his X handle and wrote, "Done more than a few songs with Deepika Padukone but nothing like a love song done the Atlee way!!! Happy Birthday my friend Atlee! Thank u for this #Faraatta of a song… To first meetings, first love, that Faraatta feeling!"

Replying to Shah Rukh Khan, Atlee said, "Love you, sir."

Meanwhile, Jawan has been continuing the undisputed triumph at the box office. The film, released in theatres worldwide on September 7, has so far made a whopping amount of Rs. 907.54 crores.

Directed by Atlee, Jawan also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, and Ridhi Dogra, among others. Deepika Padukone has a cameo appearance in the film.

A commercial action drama, Jawan features Khan as a father and son who team up to destroy the forces that plague society. Vijay Sethupathi plays the antagonist. Anirudh Ravichander has scored the music for the film.
