Jawan, the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer, has been continuing the undisputed triumph at the box office. The film has so far made a whopping amount of Rs. 907.54 crores. The makers announced the news through their social media handles. The film earned this staggering amount within the third week of its theatrical release. 

Directed by Atlee, Jawan also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, and Ridhi Dogra, among others. Deepika Padukone has a cameo appearance in the film.

The film, released in theatres on August 7, opened favourable to mixed reception. "The problem with Jawan isn't that it tries to cram in as many issues; it's that the film doesn't really seem to care… a lot like how it doesn't really seem to invest emotionally in its characters," reads an excerpt from the CE review of the film. 

A commercial action drama, Jawan features Khan as a father and son who team up to destroy the forces that plague society. Vijay Sethupathi plays the antagonist. Anirudh Ravichander has scored the music for the film. Jawan also features cinematography by GK Vishnu and editing by Ruben.
