On Friday, Disney+ Hotstar shared a small behind-the-scenes teaser of its upcoming web series, Sultan of Delhi. Milan Luthria, who has previously helmed The Dirty Picture, and Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, makes his series directorial debut with Sultan of Delhi. 

Suparn Verma has co-written and co-directed this series, which stars Tahir Raj Bhasin, Anjum Sharma, Vinay Pathak, Nishant Dahiya, Anurpiya Goenka, Mouni Roy, Harleen Sethi and Mehreen Pirzada. 

In an official statement, director Luthria said, "Sultan of Delhi traces the journey of Arjun Bhatia (Bhasin) and explores a tale of greed, betrayal, courage and the ultimate fight for power.''

The series, set in the 1960s, is adapted from Arnab Ray's novel Sultan of Delhi: Ascension. Reliance Entertainment is financially backing the series. All episodes of Sultan of Delhi will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on October 13.
