Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan has finally hit the theatres. Directed by Atlee in his Hindi directorial debut, the film has been getting mixed reviews, with many praising the actor for his performance. The latest to laud is Kangana Ranaut.

The actor took to Instagram story to pen a note on the film and how she loved to watch Khan onscreen.

“From being the ultimate lover boy of the nineties to a decade long struggle again to reinvent his connection with his audience in his late forties to mid fifties and ultimately  rising as the quintessential Indian mass super hero at the age of 60 (almost) is nothing short of super heroic even in real life,” Kangana wrote. She also recollected the times when Khan was “wrote off” and “mocked” for his choices. “But his struggle is a master class for all those artists who enjoying long careers but must reinvent and restablish,” she continued.

Kangana also hailed Khan as “cinema God that India needs not just for hugs and dimples but for some serious world saving as well”.

Jawan is an action drama, which stars Khan in dual roles. The actor plays a veteran soldier father and jailer son, who take on the crimes and problems that plague the society. The film also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, among others.

Meanwhile, Kangana is awaiting the release of Chandramukhi 2, a Tamil film starring Raghava Lawrence and helmed by P Vasu.
