Vikrant Massey will soon be seen in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 12th Fail. The actor recently shared his excitement and thoughts about the project, shedding light on the first time he read the script.
In a recent interview, Vikrant mentioned that after reading the script he was in tears. “When I read the script for the first time, I cried so much for almost 15-20 minutes because I was really moved by the story,” he said. “Somewhere, I even saw myself in this story.”
Directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, 12th Fail is based on Anurag Pathak's novel about the journey of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS officer Shraddha Joshi. The film is also inspired by millions of true stories of students attempting the world's toughest competitive exam - UPSC.
The film marks the return of Vidhu to the director's chair after 2020's Shikara. 12th Fail will be released worldwide on October 27 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
