On Thursday, Prime Video released the trailer of the second season of TVF's coming-of-age series Aspirants. The new season will premiere on the streaming platform on October 25.

The series is about three friends, Abhilash, Gurpreet Singh (Guri) and Shwet Ketu Jha (SK), played by Naveen Kasturia, Shivankit Singh Parihar and Abhilash Thapliyal respectively. They are all UPSC aspirants. It also features Namita Dubey and Sunny Hinduja, with the latter playing the character of Sandeep Bhaiya.

The trailer shows Abhilash, who has now become an IAS officer, trying to balance between right and wrong and also be supportive of his friends. There's also a peep into how Dhairya (Namita) married Guri instead of Abhilash, and how Sandeep Bhaiyya, a senior to the trio, is still facing his own issues as an aspirant.

A comedy-drama, Aspirants is created by Arunabh Kumar and Shreyansh Pandey. Deepesh Sumitra and Jagdish have penned the screenplay for the series, which is helmed by Apoorv Singh Karki of Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai fame.

In an official statement, actor Naveen Kasturia said, "Aspirants season 2 is not just a continuation of an incredible journey, but a proof of the unwavering spirit of determination and resilience. I am delighted to be back as Abhilash, a character that challenges me as an actor every time I get into the skin of it. This season we explore the lives of those chasing their dreams, facing new challenges head-on while embarking on a rollercoaster of emotions, laughter, and inspiration.”

Further, director Apoorv Singh Karki shared, "Aspirants 2 takes the characters forward, dives deep within the world of UPSC prep. In addition, it reveals the ground reality of doing an administrative job. What is the real battlefield? Is it the prep or is it the posting? We were overwhelmed by season one’s success. We hope season 2 brings much love from the people. TVF is a master in creating universes. Aspirants is one such beautiful world we are all proud of."
