Sunoh song from Zoya Akhtar's The Archies out

One of the most awaited films of the year, Netflix’s The Archies has released its first song Sunoh, featuring Dot (Aditi), Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Mihir Ahuja, Suhana Khan, Vedang Raina and Yuvraj Menda.

Sunoh is created by Ankur Tewari and The Islanders, lyrically woven by Javed Akhtar and Dot and performed by Tejas Menon and Shivam Mahadevan.

The lead character of the series, Archie Andrews, is played by Agastya Nanda grandson of Amitabh Bachchan. With Sridevi's daughter Kushi Kapoor playing Betty Cooper, the series stars Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan essaying Veronica Lodge. 

Dot will be seen as Ethell Muggs while Mihir Ahuja will play Jughead Jones. Vedang Raina and Yuvaraj Menda play Reggie Mantle and Dilton Doiley, respectively. 

Directed by Zoya Akhtar, The Archies wrapped filming a while ago. The film is set to stream on Netflix and will be a coming-of-age musical which will be an adaptation of Archie Comics. The Archies is expected to be set in the 1960s. The film explores friendship, freedom love, heartbreak and rebellion.

Backed by Tiger Baby Films in collaboration with Archie Comics and Graphic India, The Archies is written by Reema Kagti, Zoya, and Ayesha Devitre. 

The Archies will be out on Netflix on December 7.
