The trailer of actors Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal’s wedding documentary RiAliTY was unveiled by the makers on Monday. It has been directed by Rahul Singh Datta and produced by Richa and Ali’s production house, Pushing Buttons Studios.

The trailer shows a behind-the-scenes look at the couple’s wedding. It is filled with candid moments of love, laughter and family and also scenes where the wedding prep was taking a toll on the actors.

 "Weddings are often portrayed as fairytales, but the reality is a mix of emotions – joy, anxiety, excitement, and everything in between. Our documentary, RiAliTY, is a heartfelt attempt to capture the genuine essence of our wedding experience. Our wedding was a tapestry woven with threads of every emotion imaginable. RiAliTY is our attempt to unravel the complexities of that experience. It's a mirror reflecting the reality behind the glitz, a candid portrayal of two individuals from humble beginnings”, said Richa.

Ali added, “We are laying bare our emotions, the struggles, and the triumphs that came with planning this union. RiAliTY is a testament to the fact that love is not always perfect, but it is always enough.”

Richa and Ali have been legally married since 2020. They did a traditional wedding ceremony on October 4, 2022 and recently celebrated their first anniversary.

On the work front, Richa was last seen in Fukrey 3 while Ali featured in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Khufiya.
