Jaan Da the first song from Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming film Tejas, was released by the makers on Sunday. The song has been sung by Arijit Singh and Shashwat Sachdev with lyrics by Kumaar and composition by Shashwat.

The music video is an ode to the love Tejas Gill (Kangana) has for her job as a fighter pilot. She is seen attending classes diligently at the Air Force training centre. Varun Mitra, who plays Tejas’s love-interest in the film, also features in the music video.

As seen in the trailer, released on October 8, the film tells the story of Tejas Gill, an Airforce pilot who is tasked with the mission of rescuing an Indian engineer-turned-spy held captive by terrorists in Pakistan.

Written and directed by Sarvesh Mewara and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Tejas is scheduled to release in theatres on October 27.
