On Thursday, ZEE5 released the trailer and announced the release date of the second season of their original series, Duranga. Starring Drashti Dhami, Gulshan Devaiah, and Amit Sadh, the new season will premiere on the platform on October 24. 

Amit Sadh, who left audiences intrigued with his brief appearance in Season 1, is all set to take centre stage in the second season. The trailer shows Amit's Sammit Patel confronting Gulshan for stealing his identity. Meanwhile, Gulshan's real identity as Abhishek Bala Banne is also out in the open. As Ira (Drashti Dhami) reopens the case, is Abhishek's family life threatened all over again?

An official Indian adaptation of the Korean show Flower of Evil, Duranga became the highest-viewed ZEE5 original series in its launch month for 2022.

Besides Gulshan, Drashti and Amit, the series also features  Barkha Sengupta and Rajesh Khattar. Created by Goldie Behl, Duranga is written by Charudutt Acharya. The first season was directed by Pradeep Sarkar and Aijaz Khan.
