As The Sky Is Pink clocked 4 years on Wednesday, actor Rohit Saraf took to his Instagram to share photos and pen a heartfelt note about the film. Helmed by Shonali Bose, the film stars Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, and Zaira Wasim in lead roles.

Sharing photos, he wrote, "To the film that gave me more than I could’ve ever asked for, not just professionally but also personally. Thank you for the love, thank you for the hugs and thank you for the sky that has been the brightest shade of Pink ever since!" He further also thanked his director and co-stars.

An inspirational drama, The Sky Is Pink is based on the life of author-motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary. Aisha was six months old when she underwent a bone marrow transplant and developed pulmonary fibrosis. She passed away at the age of 18 in 2015. Her book, My Little Epiphanies, was published posthumously.

Zaira plays Aisha's character, Priyanka and Farhan plays her parents and Rohit plays her brother, Ishaan. Produced by RSVP Movies and Roy Kapur Films, the film hit theatres on October 11 and opened to great reviews.

Meanwhile, Rohit Saraf, who was last seen in Vikram Vedha, is currently filming for Ishq Vishq Rebound.
