Vivek Agnihotri’s The Vaccine War has an OTT release date. The film, which premiered in theatres on September 28, will now be released on Disney+ Hotstar on November 24.

The film had a grim run at the box office and made only Rs 8.80 crore. This comes as a sharp contrast with Vivek’s previous release, the controversial The Kashmir Files which soared at the box office with over Rs 350 crore.

The Vaccine War has an ensemble cast featuring Nana Patekar, Pallavi Joshi, Raima Sen, Anupam Kher, Girija Oak, Nivedita Bhattacharya, Sapthami Gowda, and Mohan Kapur.

Talking about the release, Vivek, “This movie for me is a tribute to all the heroes who help us fight the war against Covid-19. I am so glad that The Vaccine War is coming to Disney+ Hotstar and viewers across the world will come to know the lengths our doctors went to, to find this vaccine.”
