Actors Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan who were lauded for their onscreen chemistry in the Tanu Weds Manu franchise, are set to reunite once again for a film. The project was launched and went on floors in Chennai on Saturday.

The film will be directed by filmmaker Vijay, who has earlier worked in Kangana in the political biopic Thalaivii. While the rest of the details of the film is yet to be announced, Kangana said that it will be a psychological thriller.

Backed by R Ravindran of Trident Arts, the music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar. Nirav Shah will handle the cinematography.

Posting on her Instagram handle, the actor said, “Dear Vijay sir after the incredible experience of thalaivii, happy to be basking in your glory again I love to be your team and take your commands. Thank you sir.”
