Salman Khan-starrer Tiger 3 hit the theatres on the day of Diwali on November 12. On the first day, the film made a sum of Rs. 44.50 cr in the domestic market. The film made its place in the Rs 100 crore club in just two days. Now, the film has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark and earned Rs 240 crores at the box office, the makers announced.

Directed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 is the fifth film in YRF's spy universe, which includes Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), War (2019) and Pathaan(2023).

Apart from Salman Khan, Tiger 3 also features Katrina Kaif, Emraan Hashmi, and Riddhi Dogra in the prominent roles.

Produced by Aditya Chopra, Tiger 3 opened to mixed to positive reception. The CE review of the film reads," The central plotline of Tiger 3 has the metatext of the Congress-era Aman Ki Aasha sentimentality. There are tired themes of Pakistan being bad but not Pakistanis, of choosing democracy over dictatorship. Noble thoughts served without novelty. It seems like the makers have casually assembled a bunch of run-of-the-mill spy film set-pieces and tried to balance it on simplistic politics."
