After a video of fans bursting crackers at a theatre screening of Tiger 3 went viral, Salman Khan reacted to it stating that it was dangerous and asked people to stay safe.

Taking to his X handle, Salman Khan wrote, "I'm hearing about fireworks inside theatres during Tiger 3. This is dangerous. Let's enjoy the film without putting ourselves and others at risk. Stay safe."

In the video, fans were seen igniting firecrackers inside Mohan Cinema in Maharashtra's Nashik district during a screening of the film last night, causing widespread alarm among moviegoers in the theatre. The video has drawn flak from hundreds of social media users.

Malegoan Police registered a case against unknown persons on Monday in connection with the video under sections 112 and 117 of the Maharashtra Police Act.

Salman Khan-starrer Tiger 3 hit the theatres on the day of Diwali on November 12. On the first day, the film made a sum of Rs. 44.50 cr in the domestic market.

Directed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 is the fifth film in YRF's spy universe, which includes Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), War (2019) and Pathaan(2023).

Apart from Salman Khan, Tiger 3 also features Katrina Kaif, Emraan Hashmi, and Riddhi Dogra in the prominent roles.

Produced by Aditya Chopra, Tiger 3 opened to mixed to positive reception. The CE review of the film reads," The central plotline of Tiger 3 has the metatext of the Congress-era Aman Ki Aasha sentimentality. There are tired themes of Pakistan being bad but not Pakistanis, of choosing democracy over dictatorship. Noble thoughts served without novelty. It seems like the makers have casually assembled a bunch of run-of-the-mill spy film set-pieces and tried to balance it on simplistic politics."
