Tu Hai Mera Sunday director Milind Dhaimade’s short Mai was recently screened as part of the ‘Lost and Found anthology’ at the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival. The film, starring Kunaal Roy Kapoor and Shahana Goswami, revolves around a story about loss, acceptance, and sacrifice.

Addressing the audience after the screening, Milind said, “Writers should not be afraid to be vulnerable and should look inward during times of loss.”

The director also talked about his uphill battle with clinical depression, during which he got a call for writing and directing Mai - one which he seriously contemplated whether to take. He pulled through with his wife’s help.

When it comes to other projects, his directorial Thank You Mr. Khanna, produced by Lionsgate and Love and Faith Films, has finished post-production and is going to hit the theatres soon.
