Actor Alka Amin, known for her work in series and films like Nirmal Pathak Ki Ghar Wapsi, Badhai Ho and Dum Laga Ke Haisha, is set to feature in the upcoming film Karmaa Meets Kismet, alongside Sanjay Mishra, Farida Jalal and Vaishnavi Macdonald.

Helmed by director-writer Gitanjalli Aran, the film is touted to be a soul-searching voyage, a journey of self-discovery. Alka will be seen playing the quintessential mother of the female protagonist in the film.

Talking about her reaction after she was approached for the role, Alka said, “When I heard the script for the first time and met Gitanjalli, I felt a connection and the story moved me. Hence, I decided to be a part of it. When I worked with her, her confidence, humbleness and clear vision was truly admirable. We bonded very well on set."

Sharing her experience with her co-actors, she said, "Also, I bonded very well with Farida ji on set. It was a lovely experience shooting with her.”
