Shah Rukh Khan received the US Ambassador in India Eric Garcetti at his residence Mannat on Tuesday. Tweeting that he had a “wonderful chat” with the superstar, Garcetti also shared pictures from the meeting in which SRK is seen along with wife Gauri Khan.The actor and the diplomat spoke about the cultural impact of cinema worldwide.

 “Is it time for my Bollywood debut? Had a wonderful chat with superstar @iamsrk at his residence Mannat, learning more about the film industry in Mumbai and discussing the huge cultural impact of Hollywood and Bollywood across the globe. #AmbExploresIndia,” tweeted Garcetti.

In the first picture, Khan was seen posing with Garcetti while wearing a cap and a full sleeve black t-shirt– with sleeves rolled up. In the second picture, Khan was seen without the cap, smiling as Gauri looks on.

On the work front, SRK is gearing up for his upcoming actioner Jawan. Directed by Atlee, the film has Khan in a double role. It will hit theatres on September 7. After that, on the cards is Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki, in which SRK will share screen space with Taapsee Pannu. It is slated for a Christmas release.
