The much-hyped film from Yash Raj Films, Tiger vs Pathaan, headlining two stalwarts of Hindi cinema Sha Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, will go on floors in January next year. 

Tiger vs Pathaan will be the sixth outing of the spy universe hails from Yash Raj Films, which kicked off with Salman Khan starrer Ek Tha Tiger in 2012, following Salman's Tiger Zinda Hai in 2017, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff headlined War in 2019 and Sha Rukh Khan's recent hit Pathaan. The four films have together grossed some $300 million. The recent film Pathaan continues to mint big at the box office grossing $130 million. The forthcoming film in the universe Tiger 3 will release in theatres in November. 

In the Tiger franchise, Salman and Katrina Kaif essay the lead roles as intelligence agents of India and Pakistan, respectively. In Pathaan, Sha Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone play the leading characters who are also intelligence agents.
