Ajay Devgn, who is gearing up for the release of his next Bholaa, took to Instagram on Tuesday to reveal a new poster of the historical sports drama Maidaan. The film, which was scheduled to release in May 2023, now has a new premiere date. The film will now be released in theatres on June 23, 2023.

The film is based on the life of Indian football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who managed our national team from 1950 to 1963. He was one of the key figures of the golden age of Indian football. Ajay will be portraying the role of Syed in the film. Maidaan also stars Priyamani, Gajraj Rao and Rudranil Ghosh.

The film’s teaser will be released with the premiere of Bholaa in theatres on March 30. Sharing the film’s poster on Instagram, Ajay wrote, “One Man. One Belief. One Spirit. Based on a true story. Maidan mein utrega saara India. Teaser out on 30th March.” Maidaan was earlier supposed to be a February 2023 release and then was delayed to May 2023.
