Prime Video on Wednesday unveiled a new poster of their upcoming series Jubilee. The poster introduces the character of Niloufer Qureshi, played by Wamiqa Gabbi.

As per the character bio, Niloufer is a nautch girl from Lucknow who has come to Mumbai to fulfill her dreams of becoming a big movie star.

Jubilee is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and created by Soumik Sen along with Motwane. The series also features Prosenjit Chatterjee, Aparshakti Khurana, Nandish Sandhu and Ram Kapoor in pivotal roles.

Motwane had earlier said that Jubliee as an idea has been with him since he started his journey in films as an assistant director. "While the series is set in that celebrated era of cinema, at its core, Jubilee is a very human story, with narrative themes that will resonate with everyone - which is what drew me to the story in the first place,” he said.

“We've painstakingly researched each aspect of the series to remain true to its era,” he added.

Recently, Prime Video also shared some more posters from the series introducing characters like Jay Khanna played by Sidhant Gupta. Jay is a filmmaker set on a quest to fulfil his dream of building his own film studio. Another poster showed Aditi Rao Hydari as the superstar Sumitra Devi.

The show will premiere on Prime Video in two parts, part one (episodes one to five) will start streaming on April 7 and part two (episodes six to 10) will release on April 14.
