Actor Akashdeep Sabir joins the cast of Sonu Sood's upcoming film Fateh. Directed by Vaibhav Mishra, Fateh has Jacqueline Fernandez as the female lead. 

Speaking about joining the Fateh, Akashdeep Sabir said, "I am delighted to join team Fateh and to work alongside my dear friend Sonu Sood. It's a negative role, and I'm looking forward to doing an evil job to the best of my abilities. The character will be a breath of fresh air after a few roles where I had to play a humorous character. Looking forward to this one in particular."

While talking about his career and career choices, the actor said he is getting more opportunities than in his early years in films, "My second innings as an actor has been very good, and I'm getting diverse roles. Some very big co-actors and directors to work along with, something I missed in my first innings. I hope the viewers also like what I'm doing. I have received a lot of praise for Selfie and Night Manager and will continue to push the envelope in every outing," said the producer-director turned actor.

Meanwhile, the actor's next outing will be Karan Johar's directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, featuring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. The actor has another exciting project lineup, including Rohit Shetty's web show Indian Police Force and Abbas Mustan's 3 Monkeys.

Fateh also features Shivjyoti Rajput and Vijay Raaz in key roles.
