It is now confirmed that Sanjay Dutt will be a part of Hera Pheri 3. 

While speaking to the media at a store launch event, when asked whether he is doing the Firoz Nadiadwala film, Sanjay said, “Yes, I am doing the film. It will be exciting to shoot with the whole team. It's a great franchise, and I'm so happy to be a part of it. Firoz aur mera rishta bhi bahut purana hai (I have a close relationship with producer Firoz Nadiadwala), and it's great to be together with Akshay (Kumar), Suniel anna (Shetty), and Paresh (Rawal).”

As per an earlier report in Pinkvilla, Sanjay will be playing the role of Ravi Kishan’s distant brother. A source close to the film had told the portal, “Sanjay Dutt plays the role of Ravi Kishan’s distant brother. Ravi Kishan is one of the many characters fooled by Raju, Shyam and Baburao in Phir Hera Pheri. Sanjay comes into the picture in the comic capacity to represent the whacky track around Ravi Kishan and Sharat Saxena.”

Apart from Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Suneil Shetty, Hera Pheri 3 will also have Kartik Aaryan. The film will be directed by Farhad Samji.
