Netflix's Class has been renewed for a second season, the streaming platform announced on Monday. Taking to Instagram, Netflix shared a video and wrote in the caption, "We know how much you loved this course, so we signed you up for another exciting semester. Class will be back with a new season!"

Produced by Bodhitree Multimedia Limited in association with Future East and directed by Ashim Ahluwalia, Class stars Gurfateh Pirzada, Anjali Sivaraman, Ayesha Kanga, Chayan Chopra, Chintan Rach, Cyaawal Singh, Madhyama Segal, Moses Koul, Naina Bhan, Piyush Khati and Zeyn Shaw in leading roles.

Class is an adaptation of the Spanish series Elite created by Carlos Montero and Dario Madrona. Based in the fictitious Hampton International school of Delhi, filled with “rich brats from dysfunctional families”, Class tells the story of three new scholarship students—Dheeraj Kumar, Saba and Balram Patwal --on the block. It’s no work, only play and playboys at Hampton. Ego clashes, betrayals and bitterness is the norm. A murder happens and the privileged point fingers at the disadvantaged.
