Director SS Rajamouli, whose film RRR recently got him an award at the Hollywood Critics Association Awards, wished good luck to the makers of the upcoming Hindi film Gulmohar in a video on his Instagram stories, ahead of the film’s release on March 3.

Rajamouli complimented the trailer of the film saying, “Gulmohar’s trailer is very intriguing”. Praising the film’s key actors Manoj Bajpayee and Sharmila Tagore, before conveying his best wishes to the makers, Rajamouli continues, “Manoj Bajpayee looks promising as usual and I am happy to see Sharmila Tagore ji’s comeback after many years. All the best to Hotstar, Gitika and the cast and crew.”

It may be noted that Gitika Rajamouli is referred to as Gitika Aggarwal, a prominent entertainment lawyer, who works in the Indian film industry. She is a legal advisor for Gulmohar. Gitika has previously been associated with Rajamouli in the same capacity for Bahubali: The Beginning (2015) and more recently, RRR.

Gulmohar is a family drama that follows the lives of the Batras in Delhi, the few days they move to a new city. Gulmohar is directed by Rahul V Chittela. He co-wrote the script with Arpita Mukherjee. The film will be released on the Disney + Hotstar platform on March 3. The film boasts an ensemble cast featuring Manoj Bajpayee, Sharmila Tagore, Simran, Suraj Sharma, Amol Palekar and Kaveri Seth, among others. Eeshit Narayan is the cinematographer of the film, with Tanupriya Sharma serving as its editor.
