Shah Rukh Khan, who was last seen in this year's biggest Hindi blockbuster, Pathaan, is currently working on Jawan. Right from the launch, the Atlee directorial is creating the right kind of buzz. Atlee is known for helming blockbuster Tamil films — Mersal, Theri, Bigil — all with actor Vijay. This will be his first film in Hindi.

It was recently revealed that the film’s music rights have been taken over by T-Series at a whopping Rs 36 crore. Apart from Shah Rukh, the film also stars Vijay Sthupathi and Nayanthara.

Billed as an action-thriller, the film will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra and Sunil Grover are also said to be part of the cast.

Backed by Gauri Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, Anirudh Ravichander is composing music for the film. It will mark the first full-fledged Hindi feature film of Anirudh Ravichander and Atlee.

Jawan is slated to release on September 7.
