While it was earlier speculated that Ranbir Kapoor will play Lord Rama and his wife and actor Alia Bhatt will essay the role of Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, an industry source has now stated that K.G.F actor Yash might also be part of the project.

The Dangal director has teamed up with producer Namit Malhotra, known for the VFX development of Dune and Brahmastra to ensure stunning visuals for the film.

Moreover, if the sources are to be believed, all the rumours of Yash not being a part of Ramayana are baseless as of now. As per an internal independent industry source, "The reports of Yash not doing Ramayana are absolutely baseless. Please wait for one of the biggest casting coups to be announced when the Ramayana team officially does it."

Apart from RamayanaNitesh Tiwari is also gearing up for his next Bawaal starring Varun Dhawan and Jhanvi Kapoor.
