The makers of Adipurush had earlier announced that in honour of Hindu deity Hanuman, they will be dedicating one seat in each cinema hall screening the film. The makers later took to social media to clarify regarding the ticket pricing and assured that there will be no differences in rates for seats next to the one reserved for Hanuman. The makers also requested not to spread false information on the ticket pricing.

Adipurush is written and directed by Om Raut and is an adaptation of Hindu myth Ramayana. The film stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, among others. The film is set to hit the theatres on Friday.

The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-Series with Om Raut's home production Retrophiles. While Karthik Palani is the cinematographer, the edit is done by Apurva Motiwale, Sahai and Ashish Mhatre. The music is scored by Ajay-Atul.
