With Adipurush set to hit the theatres on June 16. Ahead of that, a grand event was held in Tirupati. Speaking at the event, the film's director Om Raut requested the film's producers to keep a seat vacant in every theatre, wherever the film is being played, in honour of Lord Hanuman.

The film has Prabhas as Ram, Kriti Sanon as Sita, Sunny Singh as Lakshman and Saif Ali Khan as Raavan, and Devdatta Nage as Hanuman. Hanuman's character has a pivotal role, especially in the battle against Lankesh to rescue the abducted Janaki.

Though originally a Hindi language film, Adipurush, which tells the epic saga of Ramayana, was produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-Series with Om Raut's home production Retrophiles. While Karthik Palani is the cinematographer, the edit is done by Apurva Motiwale, Sahai, and Ashish Mhatre.
