Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, the recently released Hindi film starring Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles, has collected Rs Rs 5.49 crore on the first day of its release at the domestic box office, the makers announced Saturday.

The film is directed by Laxman Utekar of Luka Chuppi and Mimi fame, and released on Friday. Set in Indore, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke is a romantic-comedy which follows the life of a married couple Kapil and Somya, played by Vicky and Sara, who are headed for a divorce.

The film is co-produced by Jio Studios and Maddock Films. Besides Vicky and Sara, the film also stars Inaamulhaq, Sushmita Mukherjee, Neeraj Sood, Rakesh Bedi and Sharib Hashmi in pivotal roles.
