Author Nikhil Sachan's Hindi novel UP 65 is all set to be adapted into a web series. Happy that his story is reaching a wider audience through OTT, Nikhil himself has adapted the story for the screen.

UP 65 will take viewers on a heart-warming and fun journey through the other side of student life. The series is set in the archaic yet bright city of Banaras.

A quirky tale UP 65 will follow the unseen side of student life and will present a humorous cornucopia of everlasting friendships, bittersweet romances and the daily mischievous of students from hinterland India.

Sharing his excitement, Nihkil said, "I am thrilled that UP 65 will reach a much wider audience with the screen adaptation. Hoping that the show will receive the love the book has received. I am sure the show will take all of us back to our college days and make us relive the best days of our life."

Helmed by Gaganjeet Singh, the series is presented by Jio Studios and is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Akash Chawla and Arunava Joy Sengupta (Fresh Lime Films).
