The first single of Jawan, the upcoming Hindi film starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role, was released by the makers on social media on Monday. The single is titled Zinda Banda in Hindi, while Vandha Edam in Tamil and Dhhumme Dhulipelaa in Telugu.

The music for Jawan is scored by Anirudh Ravichandar, making it his first Hindi one. The lyrics for the Hindi version of the song is written by Irshad Kamil, with Anirudh voicing it. 

Jawan is directed by Tamil filmmaker Atlee, marking his Hindi debut. The film will also feature Nayanthara, marking her foray in Hindi cinema, along with a cast comprising of Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, and Ridhi Dogra and others. The film will also have a cameo appearance by Deepika Padukone.

Jawan is set to hit the theatres on September 7. The film is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Gauri Khan and will release in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
