Satya Prem Ki Katha, the recently released Hindi film starring actors Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan in the lead roles, has collected Rs 125 crore at the worldwide box office, the makers of the film revealed on social media.

The film hit the theatres on June 29.

Directed by Sameer Vidwans, the musical love story also features Supriya Pathak Kapur, Rajpal Yadav, Gajraj Rao, Shikha Talsania, and Nirrmite Saawaant. The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Shareen Mantri Kedia, and Kishor Arora. It marks Kiara's reunion with Kartik after Bhool Bhulaiya 2.

The film opened with a mixed reception. “The film quickly realises it has bitten more than it can chew. It pulls back to digestible concepts of consent and rape. Still, it keeps some novelty palpitating and explores the horrors of date-rape,” reads the CE review of the film.
