Bhaag Milkha Bhaag to have a special screening

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, the 2013 film starring Farhan Akhtar in the lead role as Indian track and field sprinter Milkha Singh, will have a special screening to celebrate 10 years since its release and in honour of Milkha Singh. The screening will be held on July 26.

The film tracked the hardships in the life of Milkha Singh, right from his childhood to his adulthood, as he wades through different important conflicts and events such as Partition of India. He eventually become one of the celebrated Indian athletes and earned the nickname The Flying Sikh.

A spokesperson from ROMP Pictures, PS  Bharathi said, "10 years of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. It's really a very special movie for me and the entire nation indeed. The Flying Sikh of the nation, the late Milkha Singh is a pride of our country and with this special screening scheduled for July 26, we are giving a tribute to this legend who is an inspiration to millions of people."

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag was directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and also stars Divya Dutta, Meesha Shafi, Prakash Raj, among others.
