Ayushmann Khurrana, on Sunday, took to Twitter to announce that he has begun dubbing for his upcoming film Dream Girl 2. Sharing a photo of himself from the dubbing studio, he wrote, "dub dub dub Dreamgirl 2 kab kab kab?"

Recently, the actor announced on Twitter that Dream Girl 2 will hit theatres on August 25. The film is helmed by Raaj Shaandilya.Dream Girl 2 is the sequel to the 2019 film Dream Girl, also helmed by Raaj Shaandilyaa. While Nushrat Bharucha played the female lead in the original, Ananya Panday is the lead in the sequel. 

Dream Girl had Ayushmann Khurrana play a hotline caller, who changes his voice into a woman's to lure men. 

While Ayushmann Khurrana is set to play the lead, Annu Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Manjot Singh and Vijay Raaz will be reprising their roles from the original. Seema Pahwa, Govardhan Asrani, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav and Manoj Joshi are the new entrants in the sequel.
