Actor Pankaj Tripathi, on Saturday, has wrapped up shooting for his upcoming film Main Atal Hoon, which is based on the life of India’s former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

The film is directed by Ravi Jadhav, who is known for National Award-winning films such as Natarang and Balgandharva. The script of Main Atal Hoon is written by Utkarsh Naithani.

Taking to Instagram, Pankaj shared a video from the final day of filming and said he is fortunate to have portrayed Vajpayee on the big screen.

"This 'Atal' journey will be remembered forever! I consider myself fortunate to have realized the personality aspect of a great personality like 'Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee' ji on the big screen," he captioned.

The film is backed by Vinod Bhanushali, Sandeep Singh, Sam Khan and Kamlesh Bhanushali. The film will hit theatres in December.
