Shah Rukh Khan, at a recent AskSRK session on Twitter, revealed the films he watched to prepare for his role in Jawan. After the session, the actor also revealed the poster for the Atlee directorial.

When a user asked Shah Rukh if he saw a lot of films revolving around his role in Jawan to better prepare for it, the Pathaan actor said, “I watched a lot of films of Atlee. Vijay sir. Allu Arjun ji. Rajni sir. Yash and loads of other stars to understand the language of expression for the world that was being created. And yes then prepped for my own character too.”

SRK also answered other questions from Twitterati. On being asked about his “definition of cinema”, he wrote, “To be able to entertain a large section of people with an iota of hoping to bring a change in people’s hearts for the good.” When a user mentioned the Hemant Kumar song ‘Beqarar Karke Humein’, on which SRK dances at the end of Jawan’s prevue, Shah Rukh informed, “The song is Atlee’s idea. I also love it with the dance and all. Too much magic in the idea, I think.” The actor also revealed his favourite action scene from the film, “The one with the trucks executed by Spiro is very good, I think,” he wrote.

Keeping up with his wit and humour, Shah Rukh also gave some funny replies to Twitterati. When a user complimented his bald look, SRK said, “Me too….now have more face to show, na??!! Ha ha.” Another asked him if he buys tickets for his own movies, to which Shah Rukh sassily replied, “Do you pay your own salary?”

Directed by Atlee, apart from SRK, Jawan also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani and Ridhi Dogra, among others. The film will also see a special appearance by Deepika Padukone. Jawan releases in theatres on September 7.
