Rachel Shelley of Lagaan flame to make a comeback with Kohrra

The series also stars Suvinder Vicky and Barun Sobti

Actor Rachel Shelley, who played Elizabeth Russell in Lagaan, is making a comeback to Indian screens with the crime investigative series Kohrra, starring Suvinder Vicky and Barun Sonti, on Netflix.

The actor was last seen alongside Aamir Khan in the 2001 film.

Rachel expressed her fascination with this layered story, recognising its ability to both uplift and challenge individuals.

The actor said, "Love, with its incredible capacity to uplift and disrupt, takes center stage in Kohrra. It's a layered and compelling story that highlights the complexities of human emotions.”

Talking about her character Clara, she said, "My character Clara carries a significant secret, and as the story unfolds, audiences will witness the strength and resilience she derives from her choices.”

Kohrra will be released on July 15 on Netflix.
